If you manage Facebook Pages for clients, friends, or others, you’ll definitely want to have these Ninja tricks in your bag.
1. Liking a comment or photo as “yourself.”
Sometimes you post something as an Admin to a Page and you want to Like it — but as yourself, not as the Page Admin.
Here’s how you do that:
Log in to Facebook and click over to the Page you manage.
At the top of page, look for where it says, “You are posting, commenting and liking as [name of page] — Change to [your name]” Click your name.
Now you can post, comment or like as yourself on the Page.
2. Adding Fan comments to your Timeline.
Sometimes one of your fans or customers will write something really nice on your Timeline. These show up in the box marked, “Recent Posts by Others.”
You can highlight these posts so that they appear on your Timeline (although they still won’t appear in your followers’ news feeds).
Here’s how you make this work:
Log in to FB. At the top of your profile page, click the little gear icon. A drop down menu will appear showing the pages you manage. Click on the Page you want to work with.
Now you’re officially logged in as this Page. This is really important to know because when you do this, you can travel around Facebook and post, comment and like as your brand Page.
Go to your Page. At the “Recent Posts by Others” box, look for the post you want to highlight. Run your mouse over and look for the “x” in the right corner. Click it. A drop down menu appears. Click “Highlighted on Page.”
Viola! Now your Fan’s post appears on your Timeline.
Don’t forget to log back in as yourself — just go back to the Gear icon.
