Last week I placed my first order from The Container Store. It arrived today — and inside was this thank you note, signed by the company’s president, Melissa Reiff.
Along with this thank you note, I found a card telling me to enter a sweepstakes for a luxurious trip for two — including air fare and luggage! — to the Cook Islands.
I purchase a fair amount of stuff online. This is the first time I’ve received a thank you that explains the company’s philosophy — and that’s signed by the president. My order was less than $50.
I’m suitably impressed — and humbled. How often do you take the time to thank your customers for the business they provide you?
